NOTE: iBooks cannot read EPUB files (neither on the iPhone nor the iPad). Neither can any Kindle for iPhone (or iPad). Both

EPUB or PDF?
The biggest difference between the two formats is the reading experience.
With an EPUB file, you have more reading options. These include changing the font size on your screen, changing the font style, changing the background color, changing the text color, highlighting passages, copying passages, bookmarking, etc. The options really depend on what your e-reading program offers (i.e. Stanza vs. iBooks vs. Kindle for iPhone, etc.).
With a PDF, what you see is what you get. You can’t manipulate the presentation to your liking. All you can do is zoom in or out. Even though PDFs are also read in e-reading devices, you’re basically looking at an unchangeable image, as opposed to HTML that can be manipulated (the EPUB).
Why don’t you publish in ________ format?
